Bittman has previously published another cook book entitled How to Cook Everything, which makes use of the same principle as his vegetarian cook book — simple, fast and delicious. Although Bittman himself is not a strict vegetarian, he does advocate the reduction of meat consumption. He believes that with the current amount of meat we are consuming, we are not doing any good either to ourselves or to the environment.
