You can then leave and do other chores in the house, confident that your meal is being cooked exactly the way it is supposed to be done. Finding excellent microwave cooking recipes is not difficult either. The Internet is littered with all sorts of delectable microwavable dishes, from appetizers all the way to desserts.

Choosing the Perfect Microwave Recipe

The choice of microwave recipes depends on many different factors, such as your cuisine preference, the availability of ingredients, the cooking time, your budget, and so on. For most busy individuals, convenience is one of the most important factors in the search for microwave cooking recipes. However, it is also important that the dish you prepare is delicious and will be enjoyed by the entire family. It is for these reasons that we believe the following recipe for cooking tacos would be a perfect way to start your microwave cooking experience.

First, you will need to prepare the ingredients - ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, shredded lettuce, grated cheddar cheese and of course, Taco shells. All of these ingredients are readily available in even the smallest grocery stores across the country so they shouldn’t be too hard to find. Take your ground beef and crumble it into a microwave-safe bowl. Cover the bowl with the lid and put it into the microwave. Set it on high for five minutes.

As soon as the beef is cooked, it is now time for the fun part - mixing up the rest of the ingredients. Take all the seasonings and sprinkle them onto the ground beef. Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the beef for balanced flavor. Cover the bowl once again and place it in the microwave for another 4 minutes. Once the timer is up, you can now take out the ground beef and load it up into the Taco shells. For each serving, you should place approximately 2 tablespoons of the ground beef into the shell. Top this with the lettuce, onion and cheese. Sprinkle some Taco sauce as desired. As you can see, using a microwave cooking recipe to prepare tacos is not difficult at all. Even the younger members of the family can participate in the process, making it a truly fun and enjoyable experience.
